Cisco Multiservice Switching Networks

You can verify PNNI connectivity by checking the PNNI neighbors. The neighbor state is FULL. In addition, you can display the PNNI node list with the command dsppnni-node-list, as shown in Example 10-21.

The PNNI link, a lowest-level horizontal link, is in state twoWayInside (see Example 10-22). The complete state machine, with the name and meaning of all states, was covered in Chapter 8, "PNNI Explained."

You can also check the PNNI internal database using the command dsppnni-idb and the PTSE database using the command dsppnni-ptse.

From the MGX-8850 PNNI node, you can reach one summarized network prefix belonging to the BPX-SES-based PNNI node. See Example 10-23.
