Table 10-4 recaps all the commands used to bring up a PNNI node. Also refer to Figure 10-3 for the corresponding flow chart.
Generic Link Configuration
Last but not least, the link configuration commands are summarized in Table 10-5. The tasks or steps can be matched with the ones shown in Figure 10-4.
To configure a PNNI link facing a PNNI neighbor, Steps 1 through 3 in Table 10-5 are performed. Step 3 specifies PNNI1.0 signaling. For a link facing a router, Step 3 specifies UNI signaling, followed by Steps 4 and 5. To run SPVCs, Steps 6 and 7 are performed, and to run SVCs, Step 9 is required. |
