Cisco Multiservice Switching Networks
Chapter 11. Advanced PNNI Configuration
From a routing protocol perspective, the PNNI protocol includes highly developed routing features. Hierarchical routing and constrained-based routing are some of the sophisticated routing elements. This chapter covers advanced PNNI configuration in multiservice switching networks, including these two topics. Building on the PNNI network from Chapter 10, "PNNI Implementation and Provision," this chapter describes hierarchical PNNI configuration. Multiple Peer Group PNNI provides great scalability for PNNI networks. This chapter also includes the concepts and configuration of Interim Interswitch Signaling Protocol (IISP) and traffic engineering. |
