| In this step, we'll add the video clips for the project, anchor.avi and reporter.avi, as well as the background and foreground graphics clips, 144_Background1.mov and 144_Lowerthird2.mov. The anchor.avi clip is the anchorman for the project and the reporter.avi clip is the "girl on the street" reporting "live" from Hawaii. Add the Video Clips to the Project - Start Premiere Elements and create a new project called nightlynews.
- Click the Get Media from button on the Media panel to access the Get Media from view, if it's not already active.
- Select DVD, Digital Camera, Mobile Phone, Hard Drive Camcorder, Card Reader.
- When the Media Downloader displays, click the Advanced Dialog button to switch to Advanced mode.
- Select the following clips for this project:
144_Background1.mov 144_Lowerthird2.mov anchor.avi reporter.avi
- Click the Get Media button. Premiere Elements copies the clips from the DVD onto your hard drive and adds them to the Available Media list for this project.
