We're now ready to render all of our effects, save our project one more time, and create our output file. Before we do so, you might want to play the clip (press the Spacebar on your keyboard or click the Play button on the Monitor panel) to see how it looks. If you need to, make any final tweaks. For example, the point at which the elf "vanishes" might require a slight adjustment. Then, you are ready to save, render, and make your movie.

Finishing the Project

After you have played back your clip and made the necessary adjustments, press the ENTER key on your keyboard to render your project.

Press CTRL-S to save your project (or you can select File, Save from the menu).

Finally, export your work as an AVI file. To export the clip, select File, Export, Movie.

Tip

You can now optionally bring this clip into a larger project, show it on your computer, upload it to an Internet video sharing site, or burn it to a DVD disc.
