| Now that your scrolling text looks like it should, let's get it to behave correctly. To animate the appearance of the text scrolling off into space and getting smaller as it reaches the vanishing point, we are using the same technique that we used with the "Snow Wars" logo, and we'll again be making adjustments using keyframes. Add the Effect and Adjust the Keyframes - Select Title 03, the scrolling text on the Video 4 track on the Timeline.
- Press the Page Up or Page Down key as needed to move to the head (start) of the clip.
- In the Properties panel for the scrolling text, click the Show Keyframes button to reveal the workspace for keyframes, if it's not already showing.
Tip You may see the Hide Keyframes button, instead, if the Show Keyframes button was clicked previously. - In the Properties panel, click the triangle next to Motion to reveal the effect's controls.
- Set the Scale to 200.0.
- Click the Toggle animation button to turn on the animation functionality of Premiere Elements.
Tip Premiere Elements automatically places a keyframe at this point. - Move the CTI to the end of the clip by pressing the Page Down key.
- Set the Scale to 0.0.
