The last step in this project is to add some color to the Background layer. You can also colorize the Center Square and Stills layers to give the project a more consistent look. Let's start with the Background layer.
1. | On the Layers tab, click the disclosure triangle for all the layers to hide all the contents. |
2. | Select the Background layer and apply a Colorize filter from the Add Filters pop-up menu. NOTE The Colorize filter is located in the Color Correction category of filters. |
3. | Click the Remap White To color well in the Colorize Dashboard to open the Colors window. |
4. | Select a blue color from the color wheel, or choose another color if you wish. Let's create a swatch of the color you selected so that you can use the same color another time. |
5. | In the Colors window, drag a chip from the color bar to the swatches area at the bottom of the window. |
6. | On the Layers tab, copy the Colorize filter from the Background layer and paste it on the Center Square layer. The Colorize filter looks a little too intense on the Center Square layer. |
7. | In the Colorize Dashboard, lower the Intensity slider to 0.50 to reduce the amount of color on the layer.
|
8. | Copy the Colorize filter on the Center Square layer and paste it on the Stills layer. |
9. | In the Colorize Dashboard, lower the intensity of the Colorize filter on the Stills layer to 0.25.
