Apple Pro Training Series: Getting Started With Motion

First, let's open the 11-1 Air Show Open project located in the Lesson_11 folder. This is the same project that you worked with in the previous lesson, except I added a Lens Flare filter at the end.

1.

Close any open Motion projects.

In the File Browser, open the Lesson_11 folder; then open the project 11-1 Air Show Open.

Choose File > Save As and save your project in the My Motion Projects folder on the Desktop.

Now you can render the play range and see the lens flare effect at the end.

Press Cmd-R to create a RAM preview of the play range; then watch the rendered play range.

NOTE

This flare effect was created by applying a Lens Flare filter and then keyframing the various filter parameters to make the flare follow the jet, grow larger, and then disappear.
