Floppy drives on Macs disappeared in about 1998. According to Apple, it's much more efficient to transfer files between machines using an Ethernet cable (Chapter 13), a CD that you burned (Chapter 11), or email (Chapter 20). Of course, you can buy an external USB floppy drive for any Mac for about $45. |
