As you add text and images to a table, you will soon find that the rows, columns , or even the table itself is not the correct size. You can edit these aspects of a table with just a few clicks of a mouse.
Editing Table Size
When tables are formed , you can create them so they always fit within a site visitor's browser window, or you can make them a set size that will remain unaltered no matter who comes visiting your site. There are advantages to each approach, to be sure. And the place to set these configurations is the Table Properties dialog box.
Changing Column Width
Just as you can define the width of a table, so too can you define the width of a column.
Changing Row Height
You can use the same method for configuring row height as the one described in the previous section. But, if you just want to eyeball it, you can use a more graphic method.
