As we said before, FrontPage has a few decent image editing tools, though it's no GIMP or PhotoShop. Still, for the basics, it does a nice job.
Changing Image Brightness and Contrast
A basic task that many people will need to do with their images is to adjust the image's brightness or contrast. FrontPage's controls make this a simple proposition.
Repeat these operations until the picture looks that way you want.

One interesting effect is the washed-out look you can give to any image.
Decolorizing Images
Not only can you minimize the color in an image, you can remove all color from an image before converting it to grayscale.
