Get(SystemVersion)

Syntax: Get ( SystemVersion )

Parameters: none

Description: Returns the current operating system version level.

Examples:

Get (SystemVersion)

returns 10.3.3 for Mac OS X version 10.3.3.

Returns 5.0 for Windows 2000.

Returns 5.1 for Windows XP.

Comments:

The values returned by Get (SystemVersion) will change as new versions of operating systems become available. As with checks against Get (SystemPlatform) , you should try to perform tests of the system version in a single, central location within your files so that it will be easy to update in the future.
