In project TicTacToe in Chapter 27, we set the BackColor of each of the larger panels to Web | Transparent so the program could write a large X or O over each panel (in red or blue). This technique works for writing on a form, but it does not work for manipulating controls on a form to bring them to the front layer of a presentation.
