Pointing a light at just the right area of a scene can be difficult, but Maya makes it a little easier by allowing you to look through the light as you position it. As you look at the scene through the light, you can pan and dolly around until the light is pointing at the precise area of the scene you want to illuminate. To look through a light: 1. | Select the light through which you want to view the scene. | 2. | Inside a pane, select Panels > Look Through Selected (Figure 14.59). Figure 14.59.
