Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 Studio Techniques
When converting a stereo project to a 5.1 surround sound project, remember that track-based effects are not preserved when you copy and paste between the two sequences. Keep in mind that any project can be converted and remixed in 5.1; you just need to be exporting the audio into a format that supports six channels of audio. If you are creating a Windows Media file for the Web, although it increases the overall file size, 5.1 mixing fits right into the Windows Media file format. To play back 5.1 audio through an added audio interface, your audio hardware must support at least six output channels. When setting up your surround sound system, make sure your speaker configuration matches the speaker distribution in your Audio Output Mappings preference. This chapter concludes the audio techniques portion of the book. The next section covers such advanced effect techniques as green screen keying, color correction adjustments, and track matte examples, plus a lot more helpful tips and tricks for getting more out of the effects that come with Premiere Pro 2.0. |
