Fit for Developing Software: Framework for Integrated Tests
| This is our first example in which Fit tables are used as storytests[1] to sort out what's needed anew in the system rather than testing what is already there. We'll see that the tables help formulate the requirements and then express, with concrete tests, the abstract design of extensions to the application. In turn, the tables help to communicate the ideas with several important clients to see whether new functionality will fulfill their needs. [1] Joshua Kerievsky coined the terms storytests and Story Test-Driven Development. The latter is a core practice in Industrial XP. See http://industrialxp.org for further details. |
