29. Delete a Digital ID

28 Create a Digital ID

Removing digital IDs is required when you have changed your identifying information or when employees have changed jobs or companies. When managing your IDs, it is critical that you have the most up-to-date information.

1.

Remove a Digital ID

Select Advanced, Security Settings . This launches the Security Settings dialog box.

Select the digital ID you want to remove by clicking it in the Digital ID list. Click the Remove ID button. A warning dialog box appears asking whether you are sure you want to remove the selected ID from your digital IDs file. This gives you a chance to make sure you chose the right digital ID to remove.

TIP

If you are unsure about deleting a digital ID, export the data so you have it saved. You can always add it back later.

Confirm the Deletion

Click the OK button to remove the digital ID you selected.
