It's handy to be able to easily set guides to show the dimensions of common browsers, but it's not quite the same as seeing how your design actually appears in a window of that size . That's where setting page dimensions comes in.
| 1. | Click the Window Size pop-up menu in the status bar, and select Edit Sizes. The Status Bar preferences display appears ( Figure 6.55 ). Figure 6.55. | 2. | Click in any of the fields and write over the current value to replace it. To add a value, click in the first unfilled line ( Figure 6.56 ). To delete a value, clear the entire line by deleting the contents of each field. Figure 6.56. New sizes can be added just by clicking in the first unused line and typing the appropriate dimensions. |
