Chapter One. Getting Started with Windows XP
One Getting Started with Windows XP
Windows XP is the software that coordinates the activities of your computer's hardware. Windows XP controls how your screen is displayed, how you open and close programs, and the startup, shutdown, and navigation procedures for your computer. It is useful to become familiar with the basic features of the Microsoft Windows operating system, especially working with the Start button and taskbar; opening, closing, moving, and resizing windows; and saving and managing files. |
