II. Installation

Uses Permitted |
This can be used in dry locations. It can be used to pass transversely through dry walls, dry partitions, and dry floors if it is unbroken. You must maintain access to the conductors on either side of the wall floor or partition.

Uses Not Permitted |
It cannot be installed concealed except as permitted in 388.10(2), where it might be damaged, where the voltage between conductors is 300 V or more unless so listed, in hoistways, in any hazardous area location except Class I, Division 2 permitted in 501.4(B), Exception, if ambient temperatures are higher than that for which the raceway is listed, or for conductors with insulation temperatures higher than the raceway is listed.
