II Advanced Topics

In Part II, we will discuss advanced topics that address issues such as the following:

• What other InfoCube design options are available besides the one discussed in Part I? How can we evaluate each option?
• Other than InfoCubes, are any other system design options better suited for cross-subject analysis and detail information drill-down?
• How can we use Business Content to streamline project time and effort? How can we extract any R/3 data using the BW tool called Generic Data Extraction?
• How can we maintain BW data and fine-tune system performance?
• How can we migrate (or transport, as the process is called in SAP) BW objects from a development system to a quality assurance system or a production system?

Also in Part II, we will see BW's flexibility and learn to design, develop, maintain, fine-tune, and support a BW system.
