Databases are the primary units of storage in Domino. In simple terms, a Domino database is a collection of related documents stored in a file, usually with the .nsf extension (which stands for Notes Storage Facility ). You can store a Domino database file on a server or on a local hard disk (or both). This chapter is dedicated to furthering your understanding of Domino databases.
