After an administrator has configured IP phone Services to be made available to the users, the users can subscribe to them through the User Options pages (http:///ccmuser). After the user has subscribed to the services, they can access them by pressing the Services button on the IP phone.

You can assign softkey templates to an individual IP phone (at the device level), to a group of IP phones (at the device pool level), or to all auto-registered IP phones (at the device defaults level).

The transfer functionality works just fine without administrator configuration, provided you have provisioned MTP resources for the cluster.

4.

A

When a user performs a direct transfer (DirTrfr), the user making the transfer stays out of the call. This uses minimal cluster resources to accomplish the task.

5.

B

Barge only functions when multiple users are using the same line (shared line appearance).

6.

D

Auto answer capabilities are configured on a per-DN basis. They allow a user to answer a ringing phone automatically using either a headset or speakerphone.

Michael will hear a dial tone. The busy trigger configuration for a shared extension will restrict any additional incoming calls after the line usage has reached the defined number. Only the maximum calls parameter can restrict outbound calls.

Group Call Pickup allows users to pick up a ringing phone located within their own Call Pickup Group or another Call Pickup Group. Standard Call Pickup allows users to pick up a ringing phone located within their Call Pickup Group. Other Group Call Pickup allows users to pick up a ringing phone in their pickup group or another pickup group without dialing a group number. Call Park allows users to pick up a call on hold by dialing the appropriate extension.

C

Conference Barge (cBarge) allows a user to barge in a call and use dedicated conference resources to maintain the call. Furthermore, the on-screen display shows the user entering a conference. The standard Barge feature uses the built-in conference capabilities of Cisco IP Phones and does not show the user as being in a conference call.
