Chapter Four. Linking Data in Office Documents
Introduction
You are responsible for preparing information for a weekly meeting, and you want to include a chart showing the weekly sales figures. The sales data is entered and updated in an Excel worksheet by a coworker.
By using the linking tools in Office, you can create a connection to the Excel data within a Word document. Changes in the Excel data will also be updated in Word. Your Word document for the meeting will update each week with any changes from the Excel data.
